German Expressionist Dance was a revelation for me that led me to Buto.

I play characters in various stages; I build them up with numerous faces : a wagnerian rock transmuting into a despaired being, a duskicated "Pinochio" becoming a shabby-looking-Harlow, and, a married monkey, mutating into a man-eater.

The smallest gesture contents all world's life."
